I'm Kay and I love creating with chains and so many other things.
I'm an artist with a passion for creating beautiful artwork. At a young age I developed a love for endless types of crafting, and have been in love with chainmail for years.
My vibrant, colorful chainmail pieces have been exhibited in galleries across the world, and I also offer custom painting services to make your dream artwork come to life!
My style
I work mainly with annodised aluminum due to the color ranges achievable and how lightweight the pieces are
Bold colors and unique designs
Jewelry made with chainmail has a unique feel and look to it. I mainly work with aluminum, which can be anodized to be a vast range of colors. It also makes for lightweight jewelry. I can however also work with stainless steel and titanium, which make for even sturdier pieces. These metals however cannot achieve the range of colors that aluminum can, and the colors tend to fade over time.

My armor has been made with both chain and scale, but scale is what I use most commonly. There is a wide color range for scales with which I can create numerous styles and patterns with. I will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. With the scales I can design the pattern for approval before I start putting the piece together, and can create for all sizes and ages.
The chain bags I create, often used as dice bags but not limited to just that, can be made in varying sizes and colors. My smallest bags fit one full set of dice, plus an extra D20. I have had people use them as coin purses, and the drawstring variety that make works great as a pouch on your belt for your renaissance festival outfits.
The types and styles of jewelry that can be made with chainmail and scales is endless. From dainty bracelets to lockable collars, elegant earrings to straps for glasses, there is not much that cannot be made with chainmail. There are numerous examples of what I can make both on my social media sites, as well as on the gallery page.
Chainmail makes for some extremely satisfying tactile experiences. The motion capabilities of the chain paired with the low amount of noise created make for fidgets that can be super satisfying while also being discreet. Sizes can also vary, from something small enough to fit inside your hand, to something that takes two hands to use.
Imagine the dragons you see at craft fairs that are 3D printed, but even better. Being made of metal, they stand up to wear and tear, and there are numerous colors that can be used. With a super slinky feel and scales on the head, down the back, and on the wings, these beasties even sit up on their own.
